    Specifications: 1. All work shall conform to the building codes of the county of Los Angeles. 2. All work shall be performed by licensed and insured subcontractors, in the best of workmanship & faculty work shall be subject to rejection by the owners. Each sub-contractor shall clean up his own debris, remove it from the site, and shall provide own scaffolding equipment, etc. & shall inspect site prior to signing contract, and conform to the site conditions. 3. The latest edition of the A.I.A. general specifications shall become a part of these specifications. 4. Walls - construction shall be of lightweight hollow concrete blocks of Chamco - "Ridgelite" or "Rocklite" using both 8''x16''x8'' & in the front area use 8'' x16''x8''. Meeting the ASTM c-90 specifications 5. Soil pressure of 1668 lb per sq ft max design. 6. Concrete shall attain 2000 lb min. crushing strength in 12 - 28 days, Mix: 1: 2/1/2: 3 1/2 7. Reinforcing for concrete & Masonry to meet ASTM - A15 & A305. 8. Lumber shall be construction grade D.F., with select structural grade, D.F. for all beams (not purlins). Glued laminated beams in lodge area (2) to be 18 2''x8'' Laminations (d-29.1'') constructed by licensed fabricator. 9. Roof slabs - 2'' Simpson board & applied as per Mfq's spec's for shear & lateral forces with 16 nails @ 4'' on all edges & supporters, and shall have approved flame spread characteristics meeting class 3 finish of code chap A2 & Federal spec's SSA.1-18B meeting class 3. (as per LA county Report #712) 10. Steel fabrication shall be by licensed welders & approved company, shop primed coated. 11. Mortar Mix: No Lime, use Red Label Seconum according to Mfg's spec's, grout mix: shall be 1: 2 1/2: 3 1/2 using pea gravel, pre-mixed if possible 12. Plastering: shall conform to chapter 47 of the bldg code, using 1-hr plastering w/ 3/8'' perforated Rock (ath inside (use acoustic machine applied ceilings) and cement plaster in Rest Rooms & kitchen. Use galv. metal lath & exterior plastering with cement stucco. 13. Bolts in timber & beams shall be of same dimensions as the bolts & driven thru. 14. Roofing shall be 3-30lb felt hot mopped with gray pea gravel on high lodge area, colored (as requested) gravel on other sloping areas w/ 45 lb asbestos cap, on parapet walls to edge of coping. 15. Heating % ventilation to meet code w/min of 6 air changes per hour, w/ no H. or V. necessary in storage rooms. 16. Kitchen shall meet code requirements for coue base under stove, washable paint surfaces & restrooms urinal shall be as per code 1711, fof titled area. 17. Electrical use rigged conduit for all concrete & masonry w/thin wall conduit for all other work, use multi-bracket system, min. of 400 AMP main service, provide full electric engineering with elec. permit application. 18. Plumbing - meeting code requirements, provide concrete septic tank & cesspools. Addena: A. All plastered ceilings shall have 3/8'' gypsum lath, 1/2'' plaster and 1'' mesh - ga. gal.wire. B. Heating & ventilation shall provide 15 cubic ft of air per occupant w/5 cm. ft. from outside as per section 605. C. Fire dampers in all heating & Vent Ducts. D. H-V Equip. shall have supply air - (circulating) & fresh air intake to be min of 10 away from the combustion air supply to the furnace, & keep the exhaust 10' away from both. v. provide fire link damper closers inducts thru 1-hr fire walls & floors.
