El T'arepeti [Viejo] es unos de las personajes que forman parte de la Danza de los Curpites. El T'arepeti es un símbolo de la cultura y la tradición P'urhépecha de la comunidad de san Juan Nuevo." - "My 86 year-old grandfather Felipe Aguilar Isidro is celebrating with the Tarepeti [the elder] is one of the cuprite dancers who lead the other dancers in the competition. The Tarepeti is also a symbol of the Purhpecha indigenous heritage of San Juan Nuevo."
