Students gather outside of the Administration building during a Vietnam War protest in 1968, holding signs that read 'Babies are for Loving not Burning' and 'Think about Dea[th?]'. This was probably the February 1, 1968 protest of the DOW chemical company recruiters who were on campus. The protest took place in front of the Administration Building, and there were more than 400 protesters. Different angle of photograph ua-pho_00000365.

Patrons ordering beverages and treats at Julian's when it was located in the University Union and operated as a sweet shop with ice cream in addition to coffee.

Entrance to Julian's when it was located in the University Union, with awning bearing a sign that says "Cookies, Candies, Ice Creams". The original "Ice Cream Parlour" was opened at this site in 1974 and renamed Julian's circa 1987, when coffee was added to the menu.

Presented to Dr. Vard Shepard in 1956 by the international students studying agriculture from Indonesia at Cal Poly in the summer of 1952. Scrapbook features stories and memories as told by the Indonesian students as well as photos taken both at Cal Poly and Indonesia, written in Indonesian and English. Photos from Cal Poly mainly pertain to the classroom style and courses that the students attended as well as their experiences living at Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo. Photos of Indonesia feature statements in relation to traditional Indonesian dress and culture as well as the agricultural labor society that took part in Indonesia. These students were part of the Point IV program.
