The San Luis Obispo County Regional Photographs Collection contains photographs, artwork, and postcards of San Luis Obispo City and County. The collection, comprised of both amateur and professional work, captures daily life and popular scenes and locations in the county. The bulk of the collection focuses on early twentieth-century San Luis Obispo. Collections dates between 1850-1980 (bulk 1890-1930). Description

Postcard booklet with several photographs of scenes around San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach. There are 9 photographs on each side of the fold out. First image scanned is the exterior of the booklet with the address: Mr. & Mrs. G. Foose, Midlothian Hl. P.B. 75. The second scan are the first 4 photos on the first side of the fold out, depicting San Luis Obispo High School, Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo, First Presbyterian Church in San Luis Obispo, and the San Luis Obispo Mission. The third scan are the next 4 photos on the first side of the fold out, depicting a bird's eye view of San Luis Obispo (probably from Terrace Hill), the San Luis Obispo Public Library, Morro Rock in Morro Bay, and Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo The fourth scan is the last photo on the first side of the fold out, depicting Hotel Andrews in San Luis Obispo. The fifth scan are the first 4 photos on the second side of the fold out, postcard depicting Arch Rock in Shell Beach (postcard locates Shell Beach in 'El Pizmo, Cal.'), two images of Pismo Beach (one towards the northern end and Shell Beach, and one further south), and a dance pavilion in Pismo. There is one more image underneath this scan, but is too fragile to add here.  The sixth scan are the next 4 photos on the second side of the fold out, depicting the beach and rocks in 'Pizmo', Pizmo clams, The Inn at Pizmo, and a cable bridge in Shell Beach, Pismo, Cal.
