Text on drawing reads: 'House for Mr. W. R. Hearst, San Simeon, Calif.' Scale is 1/16 inch = 1 foot. Other elements of the drawing include a pebble-lined swan pool, and spaces for camels, antelopes, monkeys, birds, flamingos, an elephant, deer, giraffes, oryxes, and bears.

Drawing includes representations of the lobby, dressing rooms, club and assembly room (with open ceiling), platform stage, sun room, card room (with wood ceiling), and service area. The left side of the drawing includes small section through the low roofs and pergolas.

Drawing also includes a representation of the heater room.

Section describes the interior of the building, facing the building's front entrance (double doors). The entrance is flanked by two placeholders for a fresco.
