Again in SLO SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA - Direct from the showrooms of Las Vegas and Hollywood's Magic Castle and back in San Luis Obispo by popular demand, Cal Poly Arts presents "It's Magic!" on Sunday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. at the Christopher Cohan Center. It's Magic! has been delighting magic enthusiasts for over four decades. With an exciting variety show format, It's Magic! is a fast-paced stage spectacular featuring top professional and award-winning magicians from around the world, performing sleight of hand, big stage illusions, and comedy. Good seats remain for the show that the Los Angeles Times declared "The liveliest lineup of magic acts this side of Las Vegas...A must for magic buffs of all ages!" The afternoon showcases Master Magician James Dimmare, considered to be the "Fred Astaire of Magic"; witty Master of Ceremonies, Mike Caveney; the magic and dance team Magicanna; the avante-garde magic of Danny Cole; Magic Castle favorite Matt Marcy, and "Magician of the Year" winners Mark Kalin and Jinger. Tickets for the performance range from $22 - $34, with student discounts available, and may be purchased at the Performing Arts Ticket Office, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
