Come spend a summer afternoon with Cal Poly’s own National Baseball Hall of Fame Legend Ozzie Smith at the Ozzie Smith Plaza Dedication Friday, June 13, at 3:30 p.m. at the Cal Poly Sports Complex (between Baggett Stadium and Bob Janssen Field) A statue of Ozzie Smith by renowned sculptor Harry Weber will be unveiled, and Ozzie’s Cal Poly teammates and friends will reminisce. Parking will be provided at the Sports Complex, and souvenirs and refreshments will be sold near the grandstands. **Just follow the event signs at Grand Avenue or Highland Avenue for directions to the Sports Complex.**
