Skip to Content Cal Poly News Search Cal Poly News Go California Polytechnic State University Jan. 21, 2003 Contact: Jo Ann Lloyd (805) 756-1511 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Immigration Attorney To Speak at Cal Poly Feb. 7 SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Immigration attorney Adam Green will present an overview of immigration regulations concerning work authorization at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 in Philips Hall in the Christopher Cohan Center at Cal Poly. Specifically, he will discuss the H1 work authorization visa and the TN work authorization visa for citizens of NAFTA member countries (Canadians and Mexicans), as well as the PR or permanent resident Green Card visa. Green has helped students and professors across the United States gain work visas or permanent residence. He is a former foreign student advisor at Harvard University and former chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He currently serves on the association's committee on foreign students and professors. The event is free and open to the public. Green will answer questions from the audience after his presentation. Cal Poly's International Education and Programs office is sponsoring the presentation.
