Description
One of the many fanciful movie houses found throughout Los Angeles, the Moorish-style Lincoln Theatre at 2300 South Central Avenue was designed by architect John Paxton Perrine and opened in 1927. The Lincoln was a popular center of black entertainment including live events and motion pictures for several decades
