El hace tanto por nuestra familia y amigos y el raspado es bien merecido." - "Enjoying the moment. My father-in-law enjoying a snow cone in the National Park of Urupan, a city about 15 minutes from San Juan Nuevo. He does so much for our family and friends. The snow cone is heavenly in peace. He deserves it."

Nuesto equipo se llama "Las Monarcas." El nombre evoca recuredos de México porque la mariposa moarca es el símbolo de Michoacán. Nuestro equipo representa a Michoacán aqui en los Estados Unidos.' Translation of description: 'This is my cousin, América who is kicking the ball during our soccer game at Sherwood Field in Paso Robles. Our team is called The Monarchs. Our name reminds us of México because Michoacán's symbol is the butterfly. In a way we represent Michoacán here in the United States.'

El T'arepeti [Viejo] es unos de las personajes que forman parte de la Danza de los Curpites. El T'arepeti es un símbolo de la cultura y la tradición P'urhépecha de la comunidad de san Juan Nuevo." - "My 86 year-old grandfather Felipe Aguilar Isidro is celebrating with the Tarepeti [the elder] is one of the cuprite dancers who lead the other dancers in the competition.
