Description

Many horses and carriages are walking on Monterey street toward Chorro street. Notable buildings in view include the Western Union office on the left, a furniture and carpet store, the Sinsheimer building, and Louis Construction. Most of the buildings have American flags displayed - perhaps an Independence Day parade? In the distance, on the left, the top of the Andrews Hotel is visible. If this is true, the first Andrews building was only in existence in 1886, before it burned down.
