Description

Students protest Diablo Canyon Power Plant, marching with signs that read 'Remember Chernobyl, Think Diablo' and 'Remember Chernobyl,' on the third anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear accident. This photo was published in the May 10, 1989 issue of the Mustang Daily. A handful of protesters march down Higuera Street during Farmers Market downtown. Students and faculty and staff were involved with protests against Diablo in the 1970s and 1980s.
