Description supplied by photographer: "Este es mi amiga Scarlett Maria Ruiz y la foto es en la ceremonia de sus Quince años que se celebro en el Santuario del Señor de los Milagros en San Juan Nuevo. Despues de la ceremonia en la iglesia todos vuelven a la recepción para celebrar el cumpleaños con su familia y amigos. Allí la muchacha baila con su papá y recibe la última muñeca que ella recibirá antes de hacerse mujer." - "This is my friend Scarlett Maria Ruiz at her [q]uinceaera in San Juan Nuevo. A [q]uinceaera is a Mexican celebration of when a girl turns 15 years old. The church is called the Sanctuary for the Lord of Miracles, which is dedicated to our patron saint in San Juan Nuevo. After the celebration at the church they went to the reception to celebrate with family and friends. At the party the girl dances with her dad. The girls parents gave her a doll. It is the last doll that she will receive before entering womanhood."
