Description
Students protest under eucalyptus trees, with sign reading "Where have all the green trees gone? Gone to asphalt everyone, when will you ever learn?" Image printed in article in November 5, 1965 article in the El Mustang titled "Architect students say 'Save the trees.'" Students were protesting the cutting of eucalyptus trees on Perimeter Road near the Administration building. The photo was also printed in the 1966 El Rodeo yearbook on page 209 with the caption "Competition with Berkeley?" Environmental Activism
