    Description

This contact print from a Cirkut panorama camera is attributed to Frank Aston, however on the verso of the print it says "From the files of W. Young Louis, San Luis Obispo, Calif." View of eucalyptus wind break in foreground, young palm trees along California Street (Palm Drive), which were planted in 1909. A rare view looking at the "backside" of early campus. Six main buildings and eleven agricultural outbuildings are the extent of the facilities, located about 1.5 miles north from the center of the City of San Luis Obispo. The only entrance to campus runs alongside the railroad tracks on California Street. This image was printed in the 1913-14 Catalog, published in 1914.
