The play, "Flapper Girls," features an all girl cast from the ninth grade dramatic class. It is directed by dramatics coach Robert L. Sigerson who is assisted by band director Robert Aitken and vocal music director Donald Patrick. The play is built around the contest race between pretty, attractive 18-year-old Linda Brighton, candidate of the Flapper Girls society; and Crystal Corwin, the richest girl in town, who has ideas along the same line. Dolly Brighton, younger sister of the Glapper society entry, steps in and enlivens the proceedings with "astonishing results," according to director Sigerson. Also on the program for the evening are three numbers by the band, "Processional," "Bendermeer's Stream" and "Great Gates of Kiev;" a yo-yo demonstration by Linda Garland, Jerry Greenelsh and Bill Greenelsh; a guitar solo by Pat Adams; an accordian solo by Jerry Greenelsh with Annazette Williams dancing the Charleston; and the ninth grade ensemble in three numbers, "Five Foot Two, Ja-Da, and Just a Dream of You." The band will then again perform with "When You Wish Upon a Star," "The Velvet Glove," "The Old Spinning Wheel," and "The Luminary March."
