This submission rate is very similar to last years; however, it represents a 50% increase in funding requested. The amount of external funds awarded to the University during this period showed a similar positive trend, increasing to $28,827,275. This represents a 14% increase from the previous fiscal year. The figure below shows the trend in funding received by Cal Poly over the past ten years.
